Paddington book party
Every child knows the cute bear wearing a red hat. Who is that? Paddington!

Centre 2 celebrates Paddington book day in March. Paddington went back to Peru and missed London dearly. To cheer him up, the students have to collect puzzles they later put together to mail to Paddington in a giant envelope! The students have to follow their map around London, hitting all the famous landmarks. At the London Eye station they learn a chant and practice their jump rope skills. The fun they have is usually heard all throughout the school! At the Tower Bridge station, their book knowledge is put to the test with a quiz. At the Big Ben station they get to show their creative side and make beautiful bookmark they can use in the future. Last but not least, they visit Buckingham Palace, where they practice their spelling and learn about the sights that they go to! Paddington sends the kids a snack as a thank you for thinking of him and cheering him up!
